Business owners that are ready to take their enterprise to the next level are invited to be part of the next Economic Gardening program.

Applications are now open for the free Illawarra business development program delivered by specialists with a proven record of building and assisting successful enterprises.

More than 500 businesses have participated in the program during the past 10 years with many increasing their turnover and the number of employees as a result.

“This program provides participants with the tools to map out a plan and take the necessary steps to invigorate their business,” said Mayor Marianne Saliba.

“In the past, this program has helped businesses broaden their scope to include a national and international market place,” Cr Saliba said.

The program targets businesses that have sound business models, are no longer start-ups and are ready to mature to the next stage of their development.

The program will begin Tuesday 21 March and include workshop sessions on strategy formulation, financial management, customer relationship management, digital strategy and advanced marketing techniques.
