Long Weekend Bass Point Reserve

Surveillance patrols by City Regulation Officers will be doubled over the October long weekend to provide a greater regulatory presence in this area.

City Regulation Officers will liaise with Council’s security company at their first and last patrols of the day to determine whether any potential campers are in the reserve.

New signage has also been installed, clearly stating opening and closing times for the reserve and that fines may apply to any vehicle left in the carpark after the gates close.

The Department of Primary Industries will also be conducting regular patrols.
