Shellharbour City Business Network 'Double Header'

Business and tax strategies will be the focus of the next Shellharbour City Business Network ‘Double Header’ to be held this month.

Business strategy advisor Garry Pinch will be conducting a presentation and development workshop over two consecutive days.

Through working with small and medium sized enterprises for over 30 years, Garry has identified the best action plans for ensuring business success.

"This free business network presentation is a great opportunity for business owners to increase their knowledge of tax strategies, particularly businesses who are just starting out and those looking to grow tax effectively" said Mayor Marianne Saliba.

The presentation will also highlight ‘must do’ tax strategies and explore the most common ‘lost’ tax deductions for businesses.

“The corresponding workshop will provide templates and tools that when used efficiently will help drive profitability and productivity” Cr Saliba said.

Garry will also address how to develop targets, implement pricing strategies and use accounting reports to make stronger business decisions.

The presentation will be held on Wednesday 17 May 5.30pm – 7.30pm, followed by a workshop on Thursday 18 May 9.00am – 12pm at The Emerald Room, Warilla Bowls and Recreation Club.

Bookings for both events are essential and can be made by contacting Council's Economic Development Unit on 4221 6030.
