Shellharbour City Library will be a host for the 2018 Sydney Writers’ Festival, featuring a live stream event and author talk on Sunday 6 May.

This event is a strategic community partnership with Merrigong Theatre Company and the South Coast Writers Centre.

The Sydney Writers’ Festival is Australia’s largest forum celebrating books and ideas in the southern hemisphere.

“This is a wonderful community strategic partnership with Merrigong Theatre and South Coast Writers and Council is honoured to be included as a host,” Cr Saliba said.

“The Live & Local element of the festival offers regional and national audiences access to new ideas from great minds.”
