Use of sports fields

Applications are now being called for the use of Council's Sportsfields for the 2019 Winter Season.
 
Applications have been sent to Clubs. If you have not received an application, please contact Team Leader Property on 42216 111 or email council@shellharbour.nsw.gov.au
 
The closing date for all applications is 4:00pm Friday 8 February 2019.


Individual bookings may also be made throughout the year. Application forms are available from Customer Service. Such bookings may incur a casual hire fee.

Clubs are charged a season booking fee and all clubs and schools are asked to provide a current Public Liability Insurance Policy Cover of at least $20M.

Various fees and charges may apply to clubs to cover their use of the sportsfields (eg. use of electricity for amenities and floodlights).

Clubs and schools from outside the Shellharbour Local Government area may also be charged a daily fee for the use of the ground. These fees are set out in Council’s Fees & Charges.

Local Approvals for special events may be required where large numbers of people are expected, eg. exhibition matches or where structures will be erected. (eg. jumping castle for presentations) Local Approval Application Forms are available from Customer service.

Keys are required for access to grounds, amenities & lighting. A key bond is required for any key issued. This deposit is refunded when the key is returned.
