Release

Journey through The Enchanted Forest to witness Shellharbour’s Blackbutt Forest come alive through a magical storytelling and lightshow experience.

From Friday 19 May to Sunday 11 June, attendees can immerse themselves in an award-winning light show, featuring vibrant installations, including dazzling laser effects and magical holograms.

Featuring an array of artistic and interactive projections, lush soundscapes, and digital art to excite the senses, this all-new Luna Light Journey; The Enchanted Forest makes for a unique and unforgettable entertainment experience suitable for all ages.

The family-friendly event is hosted by Shellharbour City Council in partnership with LASERVISION, the world's leading creator and producer of light, water and sound shows.

The Enchanted Forest is ticketed with different time allocations from 6pm every night (Monday to Sunday) for groups to make their way through the forest at 15-minute intervals. The experience can be enjoyed at your own pace and can take approximately 45 to 75 minutes.

Low-sensory sessions are available at the beginning of each night for people with specific sensory needs or who prefer a more subdued environment. These sessions feature smaller crowds and lower-intensity light displays and sound.

Shellharbour City Council Mayor Chris Homer said that it was wonderful that Council is able to host The Enchanted Forest experience again in the region.

“I’m proud that Council has brought to life this incredibly unique and exciting new event to add to this year’s winter calendar. “It will be a truly special event for family and friends to come together to be delighted and inspired as they unveil the beautiful Blackbutt Forest. You are not going to want to miss out on this incredible experience!”
