With an envious lifestyle, strong population growth and exquisite natural beauty, Shellharbour City residents have many genuine reasons for optimism, I share this view. I will continually explore new economic, social and lifestyle opportunities, work ethically, act in good faith, make decisions and take actions which best serve our community, ensuring objectivity, accountability, transparency, integrity, and leadership.

I was born and bred in the Illawarra and have lived in Shellharbour for 30 years. I am a devoted single father and volunteered for several local sporting and community groups.

I work for the NSW Department of Education and have an honours degree in Design and Technology, plus qualifications in Training and Assessment, Information Technology and Electrotechnology. I completed an electronics apprenticeship winning several national and international awards for my work, ranking 4th in the world for one competition. I won the Youth Endeavour Award and was a semi-finalist in the Young Australian of the Year Awards. Later I established, built and sold a local electronics business which is still thriving.

My vision is to build on our strengths including our City Centre, Marina, Airport, Lake Foreshore, and Community Sporting and Leisure Facilities, whilst protecting our natural environment and coastline.
