SOUTHERN PHONE GRANTS
Applications have now opened for the Southern Phone Grants Scheme, which will provide up to $25,000 to fund community-based projects in Shellharbour LGA. Applications close Friday 11 September 2015. For more information, guidelines and to apply visit Southern Phones.

SPONSORSHIP OF COMMUNITY EVENTS
Council is now calling for applications for sponsorship of community events in the Shellharbour LGA from businesses and community groups. Council provides funding under its Sponsorship Policy to assist with local community events. This funding is in the way of ‘in kind’ or cash support. Applications close 25 September. More...
CASH FOR CITY CHARITIES
Council is now calling for nominations from eligible groups to apply for a portion of the proceeds from the annual Australia Day Breakfast celebration which will be held at Reddall Reserve on 26 January 2016. A Community Indicator Framework has been established by Council to measure factors over time that contribute to community wellbeing, quality of life and the liveability and sustainability of the city. More...
During the colder months up to September, Council staff are utilising the slower growth of grassed areas to spend more time on the city's gardens. Winter maintenance such as weed removal, vegetation clear outs, mulching and planting in all areas of the city are taking place. Scheduled mowing will continue in this period of time.
SMALL ENVIRONMENTAL PROJECTS FUND
Applications are now open to local community groups, organisations and educational institutions undertake small environmental projects in the Shellharbour Local Government Area. A total of $10,000 is available in 2015/16. More....
