Driving directions
The airport is located just over an hours drive south of Sydney (approx. 100km), and about 20 minutes south of Wollongong.
From the north
Take the M1 south towards Nowra, which becomes Princes Highway at Albion Park. Airport Road is the first right-hand turn after Terry Street roundabout.
From the south
Take the M1 north, which becomes Princes Highway at the Oak Flats Interchange. Hargraves Avenue and Airport Road both offer access to the airport and are the first two left-hand turns after Station Street.
Drop-off and pick-up
Located immediately to the North of the terminal, limited to a maximum of 1 hours parking.
Short-term car park
Located to the North of the Terminal. Has 44 spaces - a fee of $12 per day (or part thereof) applies.
Currently, parking is FREE until 30 June 2022.
Long-term car park
Located 100m to the North of the terminal. Has 100 spaces – a fee of $10 per day or part thereof applies or a reduced rate of $50 per 7 days of parking.
Fees are payable to staff in the terminal building by EFTPOS and credit card only.

Public transport
The closest train station is Albion Park Rail, which is located approximately 950m south.
Premier Illawarra bus routes 37, 57 and 77 stop close to Shellharbour Airport on the Princes Highway, Albion Park Rail.
Currently, no public transport serves Shellharbour Airport directly.
