Can I just turn up on the day?

Yes! This is a FREE event, please come along & enjoy some amazing Christmas entertainment! Bring all your friends & family!

What time does Carols get underway?

Pre-show entertainment begins at 5pm but we do ask that all guests are seated by 5:45pm for the show to start at 6pm.

What should I bring to Carols?

We encourage you to bring:

  • Picnic rugs and ground seating
  • Hat and sunscreen
  • Jumpers/Jackets 
  • Plenty of Christmas cheer and your letters to Santa!

What should I leave at home?

We kindly ask you to leave the following at home:

  • Plastic ground cover
  • Large beach umbrellas
  • Glass products
  • Camping pegs of any sort (metal, plastic or wooden), as they damage underground irrigation and are a hazard to picnickers and footballers using the fields
  • Sparklers/ Fireworks
  • Pets
  • BBQs
  • Bean bags or inflatable furniture

What if I lose my child or need information at Carols?

There is a Lost Children/Information Booth located at the entry to Croome Road Sporting Complex.

This booth is manned by Girl Guide representatives. Both the event staff and roaming security staff will be able to assist with a lost child or general event enquiries.

Please assist the Carols Team with lost kids by writing your mobile phone number on their arm, this way we can contact you sooner!

Can I buy food and beverages?

A delicious array of delights are available for purchase at this year’s Carols! Our amazing stallholder lineup can be viewed here!

Glass is not allowed at the venue so please bring plastic bottles and containers, or cans instead.

What kind of seating is at the venue?

The event is lawn seating only.

Patrons are encouraged to bring picnic rugs and seating such as deck/camping chairs with low legs. Please note that high chairs and beach umbrellas cannot be used on the event site.

Does the Carols program include fireworks?

There will be no fireworks at this year's Carols, however we have arranged a spectacular finale! 

Is alcohol allowed at Carols by Candlelight?

No alcohol is allowed as this is an alcohol free event.

Will there be rubbish bins available?

Yes! There will be rubbish bins available, we kindly ask you to use the bins provided or take your rubbish with you when you leave.

Where can I park?

Parking will be available at Centenary Fields (Croome Road Sporting Complex) Albion Park.

  • Entry via the East West Link Roundabout will be one-way
  • Consider carpooling or cycling in! Bike racks are available
  • Volunteers will be onsite to direct & coordinate parking
  • Accessible parking will be available close to the event site
  • An overflow carpark will be open only a short walk to the venue

Can I cycle in?

Yes! We will have bike racks available on site, please bring your own bike lock.
