The Shellharbour City Council Nursery offers a huge range of indoor and outdoor plants, natives, exotics, fruit trees, veggies, bagged products and more!

We pride ourselves on growing and delivering the highest quality plants, and our experienced team of qualified horticulturists can assist everyone from novice gardeners to professional landscapers.

Most importantly, we are open to everyone, not just residents of the Shellharbour Local Government Area.

Our nursery also welcomes work experience students who are interested in getting involved in plant production and nursery maintenance.

Bush Regeneration

Our Natural Areas Bush Regeneration Team regularly collect local seeds from our natural reserves across Shellharbour. Our team of qualified horticulturists then process and propagate the seeds in our nursery glasshouse where they are in the perfect environment to begin the germinating process.

Once they sprout and are at a good height, they are then potted into forestry tubes for transportation to local sites where they are then planted.

What we’re working on:

  • Bass Point
  • Council Services Depot
  • Collins Reserve
