Please note that, due to measures adopted by the Federal Government to stop the spread of COVID-19, all Shellharbour Pools have been closed until further notice and have moved beach lifeguard operations from patrolled swimming areas to emergency response/surveillance.
In line with the latest directive from Surf Life Saving NSW, volunteer surf lifesavers from Warilla-Barrack Point and Shellharbour SLSC have now finished their patrols for the season.
Red and yellow flags, indicating a patrolled swimming area, will not be posted until the start of the new patrol season in September 2020.
We ask our community to please remember that our lifeguards and volunteer surf lifesavers will not be at the beach to protect you and keep you safe as they normally are at this time. We urge everyone to think twice before heading to the beach and for the public to remain vigilant and to look out for each other and to call Triple Zero if they see someone in distress in the water.
