About Marty
Meet Marty, a lively and intelligent dog who wants you to be his family! With a clever mind and a playful spirit, Marty is eager to share his life and learn alongside an equally engaging human friend.
Marty's true love is a game of fetch, though his intelligence and interest in basic commands shape his character. He also loves playing with a Kong or tennis ball. He is very smart, has a very high drive and knows lots of cool tricks! Marty settles well in a kennel, and is a confident and stable dog in general. He doesn't bark excessively, destroy things or show any negative behaviours.
While his playful antics with toys and fetch showcase his energetic side, Marty also craves companionship and affection. He adores a good butt scratch and loves the gentle ritual of being towel dried after a playful romp outdoors. These special moments of care help him emotionally emerge from his shell and build trust with his new family.
Marty has been around other dogs whilst in our care. He usually prefers to do his own thing, but can hang out with other dogs that aren’t too intense. He has not been tested around cats but he is great around kids.
Marty's perfect home would be with someone who can invest time into strengthening his existing obedience with positive and encouraging training sessions. If you're ready for a playful, loving dog to join your life and enjoy training time as much as fetching tennis balls, look no further than Marty!
