National Child Protection Week is a campaign held annually across Australia to raise awareness of child abuse prevention. The objectives of the week are to raise the profile of all issues connected with child protection.

Shellharbour City Council have created a bingo game resource for starting the discussions around child abuse in the community, and to raise awareness of support services in the local area. This resource links to the NSW syllabus outcomes for Health, Wellbeing and Relationships. Specifically linking to PDE-2 "identifies people and demonstrates protective strategies that help keep themselves healthy, resilient and safe".

Through this resource children and young people will be able to learn about the different services that are available to them to help them feel safe in the community, through the visualisation of support service logos in a fun interactive way.
