Shellharbour City Council invites residents and visitors to take a journey into the city’s art scene with a new art marathon on the TREAD Shellharbour App.

The new TREAD Shellharbour app feature has been developed as part of celebrations for Enliven, a COVID-safe event series of diverse art programs, live music and immersive creative experiences.

The Enliven art marathon will send participants on missions across the city to experience live music, live art, exhibitions and public art. Each mission will also provide a clue to the location of a new upcoming public artwork.

There is also the opportunity to win Civic Square Cafe coffee vouchers for completed missions. Simply tag @shellharbourcc (on FB) and @shellharbourcitycouncil (on IG) on your uploaded pictures and use hashtags #enlivenshellharbour #livenlook.

Shellharbour Mayor Marianne Saliba said that the new app was a unique opportunity to explore the diverse talents of our local creative community.

“The treasure hunt is a fantastic way for our community and visitors to engage with our Enliven program and get to know the city better. It is also an exciting activity for families to complete together during the school holidays,” Cr Saliba said.

“I’m so proud that our Council is committed to uplifting and reconnecting our community after the difficult year we have all experienced,” she said.
