Our Shellharbour City Local Strategic Planning Statement (LSPS) guides the future of land use planning in the City. 

The LSPS creates a vision on which Council can base planning decisions and assist with managing the future growth of our City based on our economic, social and environmental needs over the next 20 years. The LSPS includes our land use planning vision for the next 20 years in Shellharbour City. It also includes our planning priorities and actions on how we will deliver this vision. The LSPS provides guidance on meeting our changing needs, managing land use planning challenges and will assist us to further develop the local character of Shellharbour now and into the future. 

The LSPS will be delivered through Council's Community Strategic Plan, Delivery Plan, and Operational Plan. It is a key strategy that feeds in to the Integrated Planning and Reporting Framework.
