Release

Shellharbour City Council’s unique Hidden Forest Festival will be returning to Shellharbour this April for its second year.

The all ages music event will take place on Saturday 9 April 2022 in the stunning woodland of Blackbutt Forest.

Hidden Forest brings together great Australian music, delicious food stalls, markets and includes some of the region’s finest brewers and distillers. It is a celebration of what is great about our City and our Region.

The incredible line-up of local and national artists includes headliner, Something for Kate, indie-rock band Tired Lion and First Nations rapper, Ziggy Ramo.

Supporting acts include pop singer songwriter, Sahara Beck, Triple J Unearthed winner and Illawarra local Bec Sandridge and Charlie Collins, an indie-pop singer songwriter from Tamworth.

Shellharbour City Council CEO, Carey McIntyre, said the first Hidden Forest Festival in 2019 was such a success that Council decided to follow up with a second event.

“The talent that Council has lined up for next year’s event is fantastic. I encourage everyone to come on out and celebrate in this incredibly beautiful natural setting” Mr McIntyre said.

There will be a free valet bike parking service, however there is limited car parking and public transport is recommended for those not in surrounding suburbs.

Tickets are on sale now via the following link https://www.hiddenforest.com.au/tickets and NSW Dine & Discover vouchers can be used.
