Release

Shellharbour City Mayor Marianne Saliba says people can share their thoughts on the proposed Dunmore Lakes Sand Extraction Project application via electronic public meeting later this month.

The meeting, conducted by the Independent Planning Commission NSW, will be held from 12pm AEDT on Wednesday 28 October 2020.

In line with COVID-19 regulatory requirements, the Commission is not holding face-to-face public meetings at this time.

Shellharbour Mayor Marianne Saliba said that people could take the opportunity to provide comment via the video conference, with an option to participate by telephone.

“I know this issue has generated interest in our community. This is an opportunity for people to share their thoughts directly with the Commissioners who will be making the determination on this application,” Cr Saliba said.

Those who wish to speak at the public meeting must complete an online registration form by 5pm AEDT on Wednesday 21 October 2020: https://www.ipcn.nsw.gov.au/speaker_registration_form?project_id=565f7c8...
