Shellharbour City Council and Shellharbour City Libraries will host popular scientist, Dr Karl Kruszelnicki as part of their online ‘Nature Talks in the Library’ this October.

Dr Karl is a renowned scientist, author, television and radio host and has recently published his third children’s book on climate change.

Dr Karl will discuss his ‘Little Book of Climate Change Science’ and provide an informative, fun and educational talk on global warming and how we can fix the future.

The talk will be hosted online on Tuesday 12 October at 6pm.

Shellharbour City Mayor, Councillor Marianne Saliba, said the talk was a wonderful opportunity for the Shellharbour community to learn about science and engage with one of Australia’s most recognisable scientists.

“The Nature Talks in the Library series are a wonderful opportunity for the community to learn about our environment and sciences. This event is suitable for both young people and adults and I encourage the community to register for Dr Karl’s talk,” Cr Saliba said.
