Purpose
The purpose of the Coastal and Flood Risk Management Advisory Committee is to enable the community and other stakeholders the opportunity to provide input, feedback and support to Council on the development and implementation of Council’s Coastal Management Program (CMP) for Shellharbour’s Open Coast and Council’s flood program for the Shellharbour Local Government Area (LGA).
The Committee will provide a link to the local community and assist Council in identifying significant issues in regard to coastal management and flood risk in Shellharbour.
The committee does not have the power to incur expenditure, or the power to bind Council.
