Release

Shellharbour Civic Centre will come alive with the unique and energetic sounds of Masha and Sako in Concert, as part of celebrations for National Refugee Week (Sunday 20 June – Saturday 26 June).

Masha Mnoyan, finalist of The Voice Australia 2020 and previous winner of The Voice Armenia, will join classical guitarist Sako Dermenijian and band from 7pm to 9pm, Friday 25 June 2021 for one unmissable live music experience.

Gather your friends and enjoy a night of jazz, blues, pop and cultural music. Settle in for some after dinner nibbles with a grazing box prepared by the Civic Square Café and BYO alcohol/nonalcoholic beverages.

Shellharbour Mayor Marianne Saliba said that the concert was a fantastic opportunity to come together as a community to celebrate the city’s diverse culture.

“This year’s Refugee Week theme “Unity – The way forward” recognises the vital importance and powerful potential of working together,” Cr Saliba said.

“I’m proud that these talented, internationally recognised artists are coming to Shellharbour to perform and am looking forward to being a part of the audience,” she said.

Ticket costs are subsidised by a Multicultural NSW Government grant and Discover NSW Voucher are accepted. Tickets are limited. Find out more and book at https://events.humanitix.com/masha-sako
