Grab your keep cups and bring along some hungry friends – the Civic Square Café has opened at the Shellharbour Civic Centre!

If you are in need of a caffeine fix, something deliciously sweet or a hearty breakfast or lunch, the Civic Square Café has you covered.

The café is run by Huizhi Ren and Zhong Zheng, the owners of Il Lago Pizzeria in Albion Park. The café offers a family-friendly, all-day breakfast and lunch menu, with all the classics you know and love, plus more.

Shellharbour Mayor Marianne Saliba said that the Civic Square Café was a fantastic place for friends, families and Council staff to come together and unwind over a delicious meal.

“The Civic Square Café is a great addition to the award-winning Civic Centre building and has already received high praise from Council staff and Civic Centre visitors,” Cr Saliba said.

“Centred between the Museum and the City Library, the café gives the community a great reason to gather with loved ones over a wide variety of fresh, affordable meals and fine coffee.

“We have also had lots of people holding business meetings at the café, which is wonderful to see. People are also travelling here for great quality coffee, both by car and on foot!” she said.

Take advantage of free underground car parking and the option to enjoy your café delights in different spots around the Civic Centre, including the light-filled dining area of the café, the sunny outdoor balcony, or perhaps in the library with a book.

The Civic Square Cafe is open 7 days from 7.30am to 4.30pm on weekdays and 7.30am to 2.30pm on weekends.
