Shellharbour City Council is seeking submissions to inform the Draft Shellharbour Property Strategy 2020 - 2030 that is currently on public exhibition.

The strategy outlines Council’s approach and principles for the management of its strategic property assets.

The purpose of the strategy is to help ensure Council’s property portfolio is strategically aligned with its service delivery objectives, while delivering optimum commercial value from the management and development of property.

Council endorsed the draft strategy for public exhibition on 15 December 2020.

Shellharbour Mayor Marianne Saliba said property needed to be managed and refreshed to effectively support the growing Shellharbour community.

“The strategy will help guide decision making to ensure Council’s property portfolio assets are fit for purpose, financially sustainable and optimise community benefit,” Cr Saliba said.
