Shellharbour is a popular tourist spot for many visitors over the summer holidays, taking in the natural beauty of the region including Lake Illawarra, the world-class surfing reserve Killalea, Bass Point Reserve including Bushrangers Bay and Macquarie Pass.

The Shellharbour Visitor Information Centre (VIC) is a great place to visit with your guests. Shellharbour City Council’s Tourism team can offer expert advice on local attractions, tours, events, and things to see and do. They can offer tailored itineraries for your family and friends.

From the sandy coast to the lush forested escarpment, Shellharbour region is full of amazing activities and natural wonders for young and old.

If you have young children to entertain, we can show you the best suited playgrounds, calm waterways, BMX bike tracks, pump tracks, dog parks, swimming pools with inflatable fun, patrolled beaches, shopping, Shanx mini golf, holiday events and activities for the whole family.

Perhaps you have young adults in town.
