Shellharbour City Council is celebrating the festive season with beautiful light displays across the city this month.

The main installation is an exciting light and sound show at the Shellharbour Civic Centre Civic Square. The event will be held each night until 24 December. The displays last 15 minutes each and begin at 8pm, 8.30pm, 9pm, 9.30pm and 10pm.

There will also be light installations at Mood Park (Albion Park), Boonerah Point (Mount Warrigal), Little Lake and Shellharbour Village from 13 to 24 December.

Shellharbour City Council CEO Carey McIntyre encouraged everyone to enjoy the festivities.

“It has been another difficult year for everyone due to COVID-19. These light displays were designed to create some much needed joy in our community,” Mr McIntyre said.

Shellharbour City Council thanks McDonald’s Warilla for sponsoring the event.
