Christmas gift ideas handmade by Shellharbour’s young creatives

Get ready for a day packed with fun, entertainment and shopping with the return of the Civic Centre Market from 10am to 1pm on Saturday 11 November.

With Christmas fast approaching, Shellharbour City Council’s Civic Centre Market is the perfect place to buy handmade local treasures direct from Shellharbour’s talented young makers and creators.

More than 30 young entrepreneurs will be showcasing their wares including art works, earrings, plants, scented candles, textile pieces, clothing, personalised specialty items, fashion and accessories for dogs and much more.

There will also be live music from local performers and face painting.

Shellharbour City Mayor Chris Homer encouraged residents to come and show their support for the city’s young entrepreneurs while enjoying the fun-filled atmosphere.

“A lot of people are looking for presents for friends, family and teachers at this time of year. Shopping at the Civic Centre Market is a lovely way to find the perfect gift,” Mayor Homer said.

“We have so many talented young people in our city. The Civic Centre Market is a wonderful opportunity for them to showcase their talents and hone their entrepreneurial skills,” he said.

Free parking is available at the Shellharbour Civic Centre (access from Cygnet Ave).
