SHELLHARBOUR CITY COUNCIL SEEKS COMMUNITY FEEDBACK ON SERVICES

Residents of Shellharbour City are encouraged to provide feedback on Council services, activities and facilities as part of a community survey.

The survey, which involves telephone and online components, will be conducted by the Taverner Research Group until Wednesday 15 May 2024.

Information collected will help inform the development of Council’s Community Strategic Plan (CSP) and associated integrated planning and reporting (IP&R) documents.

These IP&R documents give local governments a framework for establishing priorities.

An anticipated 400 residents over the age of 18 will receive a telephone call from Taverner Research Group asking to participate in the survey.

Residents can complete the online version of the survey on Shellharbour City Council’s community engagement website, Let’s Chat.

Shellharbour City Mayor Chris Homer said hearing from the community about what they need and want for our city was important to improve Council services.

“The survey is designed to assess Council’s performance across a range of activities and services, as well as assist in identifying community priorities to guide where council’s efforts are focused,” Mayor Homer said.

Questions will be based on the role and performance of Council, staff performance, specific services and planning directions.
