The Shellharbour Local ClubGRANTS Committee has funded 32 local community organisations and charities as part of the 2021 ClubGRANTS Category One funding round.

Shellharbour City Council is involved in facilitation of the local funding scheme, which has successfully funded a total of $276,308 this round.

The funds go towards local programs such as food assistance, school support programs, disability support programs, men’s sheds, surf lifesaving, drug awareness programs and suicide prevention.

There were six local clubs involved and 61 applicants for the round, which opens annually in March.

The six clubs that support the community funding scheme are; Albion Park Bowling and Recreation Club, Albion Park RSL Memorial Club, Oak Flats Bowling and Recreation Club, The Shellharbour Club, Warilla Bowling & Recreation Club and Warilla Sports Club.
