Roll up, roll up! Forget about the big top, Shellharbour Rocks is heading to Oak Flats on Saturday 11 February 2023 for one jaw-dropping day of street performance, theatre and arts!

Located in the centre of town along Fisher Street and Ayers Lane, the FREE family-friendly festival will feature a line-up of internationally renowned, hilarious and highly-skilled street theatre artists, magicians and comedians. 

Run away with the circus from 12pm to 6pm, and explore the transformed backstreets of Oak Flats including the mysterious Sideshow Alley and Circus Drop Zone 

Festival attendees can expect the unexpected. Have your face painted, hair braided or check out the Peep o Rama Show & Fortune Teller at Sideshow Alley. Create your own recycled instruments at the musical adventure playground, watch a mural painted live down Ayers Ln, make a wish and cool off in the cheeky wishing fountain, and groove into the night with the fabulous Lo Lo Lovina Band.

There will be delicious food and beverage trucks sure to suit all taste buds and local markets along with all the amazing food and stores that Oak Flats has to offer! 

Shellharbour City Mayor Chris Homer said the festival was an opportunity to bring even more magic and colour to the Oak Flats town centre. 

“The festival is set to make for one exciting day to spend with loved ones, full of endless delights and surprises,” he said. 

Shellharbour Rocks is the largest community music and arts festival series Shellharbour City Council has ever produced.
