Shellharbour City Council is hosting lots of fun activities throughout the summer school holidays.

Highlights include inflatable fun at Shellharbour City pools, an outdoor movie night, sports development clinics, and game and ‘chill’ days at Blackbutt Youth Centre.

Many of the activities are free and family friendly, with something for children of all ages.

Also, don’t miss Council’s summer music series – Live on the Lawn - at the Shellharbour Civic Centre plaza. These free live music performances are for people of all ages.

Live on the Lawn is held from 11.30am to 1.30pm every Friday throughout January. Relax, soak up the sun and enjoy live music from local artists including Benjamin Fowler, Cameron Little and Michael Bond.

Mayor of Shellharbour City, Chris Homer, said the activities were a great opportunity for young people to have fun, meet new people and enjoy all that Shellharbour City has to offer.

“It is wonderful that Council is able to offer so many opportunities for our city’s young people. The activities are being held all over the city and there’s something for all age groups,” Mayor Homer said.

“I encourage our young community to check out what’s on offer these holidays and organise a day out with friends and siblings at our pools, parks and stadium,” he said.
