Liquor Accords

Shellharbour Council support the Shellharbour Liquor Accord, which is overseen by Liquor & Gaming NSW as part of a widespread approach to reducing alcohol related harm and anti-social behaviour.

Liquor accords are voluntary partnerships among licensed venues, community, local businesses, local council, police, government departments and other community groups.

Liquor accords aim to:

• Improve the operation of licensed premises

• Promote responsible service and consumption of alcohol

• Prevent or reduce alcohol-related harm

By joining the Accord, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with other local businesses, law enforcement agencies, and community groups to develop local ideas and real solutions that can help address alcohol-related issues in the area. You will also gain access to a range of resources and support, such as training and education programs, marketing materials, and networking opportunities.
