Tip fee reduction

Shellharbour City Council is committed to providing consistent, open and equitable financial assistance to the community within the Shellharbour City Local Government Area.

Non-profit, non-government organisations, charities or community groups can apply for assistance with tipping fees at the Dunmore Recycling & Waste Disposal Depot for a single specific project. Only charities may apply for ongoing tipping fee assistance. 

Organisations or individuals wishing to be considered must submit an application form by the upcoming closing dates:

• 4th Quarter 2023/24 - Tuesday 19 March -  Friday 3 May 2024
• 1st Quarter 2024/25 - Tuesday 2 July - Friday 20 September 2024
• 2nd Quarter 2024/25 - Tuesday 1 October -  Friday 15 November 2024

 The applications for fee reduction or exemption are considered quarterly by Council’s Financial Assistance Working Party and must comply with our Fee Reduction Policy.
