Situated along the shores of Lake Illawarra, this waterfront venue offers a peaceful setting in a versatile space suitable for a range of community activities.
The facility features a spacious main hall, fully equipped kitchen, bathroom amenities with showers, large storeroom with roll-door access and two smaller rooms suitable for offices, meetings or workshops.

This is an opportunity for organisations to contribute to the community by making use of a well-equipped and accessible space.
"Boonerah Point is a beautiful location and has great potential to become a thriving community space," Shellharbour City Mayor Chris Homer said.
“This is a fantastic opportunity for a local organisation to establish a presence in a prime location while providing valuable services and programs to our community.”
“I look forward to seeing this facility come to life and creating meaningful opportunities for connection, creativity, and engagement in our region.”
The successful applicant will enter into a five-year licence agreement with Council for the use and occupation of the building.
Council is open to proposed improvements to the facility at the applicants expense and will consider enhancements that align with RE1 (Public Recreation) zoning under the Shellharbour Local Environmental Plan 2013 and support community needs and objectives.
Interested organisations are encouraged to submit their EOI by 10:00 am on Tuesday, 15 April 2025.
