New Incubator Artist Residency

Congratulations Stephanie Quirk, our next Incubator Artist in Residence! Stephanie will commence her residency at The Imaginarium in Shellharbour Village, working from the space between 8 April -  5 May.

Quirk is an emerging artist based in the Illawarra (on Dharawal country) with a growing career spanning across local and international exhibitions. Her experience encompasses community engagement projects, painting, performance, and site-specific sculptural installation.

Quirk connects her experiences through the power of art, encouraging us to pay attention to the sublime, to create moments of pause, and initiate connection to place with a heightened understanding of ourselves and our place in the world.

As part of her residency she will be hosting two 'Discovering Shells Artmaking' workshops for the school holidays! These workshops will include a 30 min ambling discovery walk to the Shellharbour Village boat ramp (Pram and wheelchair friendly).

Participants will explore the namesake of Shellharbour and come back to the studio inspired for a special artmaking class. This workshop is for ages 8+.
