Incubator Artist Residency EOI

We are currently seeking expressions of interest from artists interested in undertaking the Incubator Artist Residency at the Shellharbour Imaginarium, a creative space in Shellharbour Village.

The two residencies offered will run for a duration of four weeks each. 

  • 1st Residency: 4 - 31 August 2025
  • 2nd Residency: 7 April - 4 May 2026 (directly following Easter)

Council has a range of opportunities for artists and creative practitioners that arise throughout the year, from public art projects (including murals) to performance callouts to professional development opportunities.

About the Incubator Artist Residency 

Incubator is a short-term residency program based at The Imaginarium, a creative space in Shellharbour Village. It provides emerging artists with the dedicated space and time to cultivate new work, explore ideas and develop their practice.

Incubator residencies will run for four weeks and are open to artists and creative practitioners working in any form. Artists will receive exclusive access to The Imaginarium during the residency period and a $5000 stipend toward artist fees and material costs.
