Surviving and Thriving

The past few years have been tough and the tough times may not be over yet. Despite this adversity, the Shellharbour community has survived, thrived and shown kindness, compassion, resilience and ongoing achievement.

We think that's worth celebrating!

So, we want to share your good news and the positive stories about the people and places in Shellharbour that have kept you going over the years.

These could be from people or organisations that have lent a hand; faced hard times but found a way to keep going; opened their hearts in big or small ways to help others; or despite it all, still achieved greatness in what they do. It could be your story, or a story of someone you know that deserves to be celebrated.

You can also share with us the places you love to visit that bring you joy and make Shellharbour a great place to live, work or play.

Someone from council will be in contact with you before we make your story public to confirm any details with you, including how and when it will be shared.
