About the Project:
Each year, Council allocates asset renewal funds to renew our aging sportsfield amenity buildings. The new public amenity facilities will incorporate accessible design considerations, improved lighting, and improved aesthetics.
As part of the 2023/24 Capital Program, the following public amenities will be renewed & upgraded:
- Albion Oval, Albion Park Rail - Partly funded by NSW Regional Sport Facility Fund.
- Renewal to be delivered in 2023/24
- Cec Glenholmes Oval, Lake Illawarra - Partly funded by NSW Multi-Sport Community Facility Fund
- Renewal to be delivered by late 2024
- Panorama Oval, Oak Flats - Partly funded by NSW Multi-Sport Community Facility Fund
- Construction has commenced, renewal is to be delivered in 2023/24
- King Mickey Park, Warilla
- Design phase to be delivered in 2023/24
- Barrack Heights Sportsfield, Barrack Heights
- Design phase to be delivered in 2023/24
