About the Project:

Each year, Council allocates asset renewal funds to renew our aging sportsfield amenity buildings.  The new public amenity facilities will incorporate accessible design considerations, improved lighting, and improved aesthetics. 

As part of the 2024/25 Capital Program, the following public amenities will be renewed & upgraded:

• Cec Glenholmes Oval, Lake Illawarra - Partly funded by NSW Multi-Sport Community Facility Fund
  • Completed
     

• Barrack Heights Sportsfield, Barrack Heights
  • Design phase to be delivered in 2024/25
     

• John O'Dwyer Amenities Renewal 
  • Renewal to be delivered in 2025/26
